Rotary Annual Senior Luncheon

Annually, the Rotary Club of Grand Cayman partners with the Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) and they throw a fun-filled Party for all the Seniors in the Cayman Islands. Senior citizens from all districts are bussed to the First Baptist Church Hall for the occasion. CITA provides transportation and all the food and the Rotary Club members organize the logistics of the event and are also on hand as volunteers the day of the party.

Acting Governor Donovan Ebanks gave a brief and very heartwarming address at the beginning of the party. He enjoyed spending time speaking personally with the senior citizens as he visited the various tables around the room.

Various prizes are given out and this year's winners are:

Oldest Gentleman: Cromwell Ebanks {91 years old}
Oldest Lady: Lillian Piercy {96 years old}
Couple Married the Longest: Mr. Cromwell Ebanks & Mrs. Leah Ebanks
Mother with the Most Children: Doris Florient Mejia {had 15 children}
